The cover is the background image on the workout card in the app — that streaming-series poster look, with the name written over it. It’s optional, but it completely changes how polished your work feels.

Where it lives

In the workout builder, inside Workout details, right below the description: Workout cover (Optional).

How to upload one

1

Choose the image

Click the dashed area Click to upload the workout cover. It takes JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 8 MB.
2

Adjust the framing

The Adjust the cover window opens. Drag to reposition and use the zoom slider to move in closer. The cover is always landscape (16:9).
3

Confirm

Click Use image.
4

Check the preview

In the right column, How it looks on the card, you see exactly what the athlete will see: the darkened image, the workout name, the format and the exercise count.
To swap it, click the image area again. To take it off, use Remove cover.

How to pick a good image

The app darkens the image and writes the workout name over it, in the bottom-left corner. So:
  • 16:9 ratio, at least ~1080px wide.
  • Keep the subject on the right or at the top. The bottom-left corner needs to stay clean, because that’s where the text goes.
  • Images that are darker on the left side work better than bright ones.
  • Avoid photos with text — it will compete with the workout name.
  • Avoid borders and frames — they get cut off in the crop.
Don’t pick by the whole photo: pick by the right half. That’s the part that will actually show.

Where the cover shows up

  • On the workout card inside the athlete’s app.
  • On the workout detail screen in the dashboard, where it becomes a large header with the name over it. With no cover, the header stays the same plain text as always.
The cover is a visual detail: it changes nothing about how the workout is done, about the sets, or about delivery.
