Chat is the conversation between you and your athletes inside Kampp. You write from the dashboard, the athlete replies in the app — and everything stays in one place, alongside their workout, their diet and their history.

Why use Kampp chat

  • It doesn’t mix with your personal life. Your WhatsApp stays yours.
  • Every conversation has context. You’re one click away from that athlete’s profile, workout and progress.
  • Nothing gets lost. The history lives in your account, not on a phone.

Where to find it

In the side menu, under Chat. When someone messages you, a red badge with the number of unread messages shows up next to the menu item (past 99 it shows 99+). You can also open the conversation straight from the athlete’s profile: open the athlete and click Message.

How the screen is laid out

  • Left column — Conversations. The list of everyone who has talked to you, with a preview of the last message and the time.
  • Right column — the open conversation. The messages, the compose box and, at the top, the athlete’s name with the View profile button.
On mobile you see one screen at a time, with a Back to conversations arrow at the top.

Getting notified about new messages

When you have Kampp open in another tab, Kampp gets your attention: a short beep plays, a browser notification appears and a counter shows up in the tab title ((3) Kampp). To turn that on or off, go to Settings → Notifications and use the New message switch.
Chat is a module enabled per account. If you don’t see the Chat item in the menu — or you opened the screen and read “Chat is not active” — contact Kampp support to have it enabled.
Do you have team members using your dashboard? On top of the module, the member also needs permission to message athletes. See Permissions.
