Let’s build a classic automation together: when an athlete joins the team, they get a welcome message on WhatsApp. The same path works for any other automation.

Step by step

Open Kampp Flow

In the menu, go to Kampp Flow and click Create automation (or pick a ready-made template to start faster).

Choose the trigger

Click the trigger and select “Athlete joined a team”. If you want, pick a specific team — or leave it for any team.

Add the action

Click Add and choose Send WhatsApp. Write the message, for example: “Hi , welcome to the team! Let’s train 💪”.

Turn the automation on

When you’re happy, activate it. From then on, every new athlete in the team gets the message automatically.

The trick

Wherever you write , Kampp swaps it for the athlete’s name when sending. So each person gets a personalized message, even though it’s automatic.
The automation saves itself as you build. And you can leave it off while testing, turning it on only when it’s ready.
