An automation doesn’t have to be a single step. You can chain several, with waits in between — creating a sequence that unfolds over the days.

How to create a sequence

Add the first step

For example, a welcome message right at the start.

Add a wait

Click Add and choose Wait. Set the time: wait X minutes, hours, or days.

Add the next step

After the wait, add another message. And you can repeat: message, wait, message, wait…

Two kinds of wait

  • By duration: wait an amount of time (e.g., 3 days).
  • Until a date: hold the sequence until a specific date and time (e.g., continue only on January 1st).

Example welcome sequence

  1. Athlete joins the team → welcome message
  2. Wait 1 day → “how was your first workout?”
  3. Wait 3 days → a tip or support material
The order of the steps matters — they run top to bottom. You can reorder the steps whenever you want.
