Every person you invite gets a role, which already comes with a set of permissions.
After that, if you need to, you adjust permission by permission on that person.
The roles
To change someone’s role, use the selector in the Role column, in the Team table —
the change takes effect right away.
The Owner row has no actions menu: the owner can’t be demoted or removed from the
dashboard.
Adjusting one person’s permissions
The role is the starting point. To fine-tune it:
Go to Team
Team menu, Members tab.
Open the person's menu
Click the three dots (⋮) on their row and choose Permissions.
Switch on and off what you need
A side panel opens with the permissions grouped. Each one has a toggle.
Save
The button shows how many changes are pending, like Save (3). Without clicking
Save, nothing is applied.
Changing the role takes effect right away; touching the permissions requires
clicking Save. They’re two different things on the same screen.
How to read the panel
- Permissions you changed from the role’s default get the changed mark.
- Sensitive permissions come with an amber padlock.
- The sensitive data group appears highlighted in amber, with a shield.
Permissions are exceptions on top of the role. That’s why changing the person’s role
afterwards makes the new role’s default apply again.
What “sensitive” means here
It’s not integrations or billing data: it’s the athlete’s data — intake form, health
information, measurements and Body Scan images.
That’s why the panel reminds you: Sensitive data requires the athlete’s consent. The
permission you grant is only half of it; the other half is the athlete having shared that
data. See Sensitive data and consent.
Before you invite someone, the invite modal shows What a [role] can do — a preview of
that role’s permissions. Worth reading before you choose.
Who can change this
The Permissions option only shows up for people who have permission to manage
permissions — not every administrator does. And anyone who can’t manage the team just sees
the notice You don’t have permission to manage the team.
Give each person only the access they actually need. Besides being safer, it keeps their
dashboard tidier — and every access to sensitive data is recorded in the
Audit log.
