Why use them
You probably use the same shoulder warm-up in a dozen upper-body workouts. Instead of repeating those exercises in every one, you build the block once and keep attaching it.Create a block
1
Go to the Blocks tab
In Workouts, switch to the Blocks tab.
2
Click Create Block
The red button at the top changes name depending on the tab: on the workouts tab it’s
Create Workout, on the blocks tab it’s Create Block.
3
Choose the type
Under Block type, pick: Mobility, Warm-up, Stretching, Breathing or
Other. The type only describes the content — you decide whether it goes before or
after when you attach it.
4
Build the sequence
Add the exercises the way you would in a workout. You can build it as a Classic block
or a Rounds block.
5
Save
Click Save Block. It’s stored in the Blocks tab.
The folders in the Blocks tab are separate from workout folders. A folder created
inside Blocks doesn’t show up on the workouts tab, and vice versa. It’s the most common
trip-up when you’re starting out.
Attach a block to a workout
In the builder of a workout (blocks don’t take blocks), look for the Before and after section:1
Choose the spot
Two rows, each with an Add button:
- Before the workout — mobility, activation, warm-up.
- After the workout — stretching, breathing, meditation.
2
Search for the block
The list opens with a search field. Click the block you want.
3
Save the workout
Done. The attached block shows up as a card with the exercise count.
How the athlete sees it
On the workout screen, blocks show up in the order they’re done: the before one above the exercise list, the after one below. Each comes with an Optional tag and the block type. The exercises show up in full — with image, sets and rest — not summarized. In the Completed workouts card, on the athlete’s profile, you can see whether they did
or skipped each block. See Completed workouts.
