Notifications are the alerts that pop up on your computer when something happens — even if you’re on another tab. They live in Settings → Notifications.

Turning them on for the first time

1

Allow them in the browser

The first time, the browser asks for permission. You have to accept — without it, Kampp can’t tell you anything.
2

Choose what you want to get

Turn each of the three alerts on or off.
3

Test

Use the Test button to fire a sample notification, with sound. If it doesn’t show up, the browser permission is denied.

The three alerts

With a lot of athletes, Workout completed turns into noise and you end up ignoring everything. In that case, keep only New message and Workouts expiring — and follow the completions on the dashboard, in your own time.

The dashboard bell

Apart from browser notifications, the bell at the top of the dashboard keeps Kampp’s notices. There you can mark as read, mark as unread and remove. When there’s nothing pending, it shows All caught up.

New messages when you’re on another tab

With the New message notification on, besides the browser alert Kampp plays a short beep and puts the counter in the tab title — so you see (3) Kampp without even looking at the dashboard.
These notifications are only for you, on the dashboard. The alerts that reach the athlete’s phone are a different thing — see Kampp Flow and broadcast messages.
