The trial period

While you’re trying Kampp out, the card at the bottom of the menu shows Trial and how long is left:
  • Ends in X days
  • Last day of trial
  • Your trial has ended
On the Settings → Plan screen you’ll see the blue Trialing badge and the exact date the charge would start.
When the trial ends there’s no drop to a free plan. Without choosing a plan, the dashboard is blocked.

When the dashboard locks up

If the account is left without an active plan, a full-screen notice opens: Your account has no active plan. It doesn’t close on the “x” or by clicking outside — the only way out is to pick a plan right there, since the plan grid shows up inside the notice itself.
You haven’t lost anything. Your workouts, diets and athletes are still in the account, and anyone who already received a workout still has it in the app. The block is on the dashboard, not on your data.
If you think this is a mistake, the footer of the notice has a Talk to us link.

The athlete counter

On the side menu card there’s the Athletes · X / Y bar. The color changes as you get closer to the limit: brand red when you’re fine, amber near the ceiling and full red when you go over. On an unlimited plan, the infinity symbol shows up instead of the number. Where the limit meets you in practice:
  • Inviting an athlete — if there’s no spot left, Kampp tells you and offers See plans.
  • Importing athletes — the modal shows how many spots you have and blocks any import bigger than that: “You have N spot(s) and you’re trying to import M.”
  • Usage bars — they turn into the buttons Almost at the limit — see plans and Limit reached — upgrade.

Features from higher plans

Some features open a notice with an EXCLUSIVE badge and an Upgrade button (or Discover Pro). That’s the case for things like duplicating workouts with one click, importing workouts from a spreadsheet, delivering workouts to whole teams, scheduling deliveries, building periodized programs, the athlete’s full history and Cortex. In some areas, instead of a notice, the content shows up blurred with a padlock and an Unlock feature button.
You can always close the notice with Not now and go on using the rest of the dashboard normally. The block is on the feature, not on your account.

Suspending an athlete (that’s a different thing)

Don’t confuse the block on your account with suspending an athlete. Suspending is an action you take, on the person’s profile: the athlete stops seeing their workouts until you reactivate them. See Suspend or remove an athlete.
