# Track the athlete's nutrition

> Adherence, streak, hydration and calories per day — what the athlete has logged since they got the diet.

Once you've delivered the diet, the **athlete's nutrition tab** is where you follow whether it's
coming off the page.

Open the athlete and go to the **Diet** tab.

## The current plan

At the top you see the active diet with its name and targets (e.g., *2400 kcal · 180P · 250C ·
70F*), the **Edit diet** button and a menu with **Pause diet**, **Resume diet** and **Delete
diet**.

Pausing is handy when the athlete travels or gets sick: they stop seeing the diet without you
having to delete it.

## Today

The **Today** block shows how many meals they've already checked off (e.g., *2/5 meals*) and
four gauges comparing what was logged against the target: **Calories, Protein, Carbs and
Water**.

## Choosing the period

The **7, 30, 60, 90 and 120 days** buttons change everything below. Thirty days is usually the
most honest window for a conversation with the athlete.

## Streak

The **🔥 days in a row** shows how long they've been logging without missing, along with their
**record** and the total days logged. When they haven't logged today yet, the card tells you.

## The three adherence cards

<Steps>
  <Step title="Calorie adherence">
    The percentage of days they stayed within the target range. It's the number that answers
    "are they eating what we agreed on?".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Followed the menu">
    On how many days they checked off a meal — e.g., *12 of 30 days*. It answers "are they using
    the menu I built, or eating on their own?".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Averages for the period">
    The average calories and each macro over the window you chose.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  The first two cards tell different stories. High calorie adherence with low "followed the
  menu" means they're hitting the targets **their own way** — which may be perfectly fine, and
  maybe it's your menu that needs to look more like their routine.
</Tip>

## Hydration

Its own block with the daily target, the **daily average**, how many **days on target**, how
many days were logged and the total for the period, plus a chart of the last 30 days.

## Calories per day

A bar chart with three states: **on target**, **off target** and **not logged**.

<Note>
  Look at the **not logged** bars first. They're usually the real problem: there's no point
  adjusting macros for someone who stopped logging.
</Note>

## Diet history

A collapsible card with everything the athlete has received from you. It shows up **even when
there's no active diet** — so it works for picking up where you left off.

## What you don't see

Kampp shows you **daily totals, adherence, meal check-ins and water**. You **don't see the
athlete's item-by-item log** — what they ate outside the plan, food by food.

<Note>
  With no active diet, the tab shows **No active diet** with shortcuts to build one from scratch
  or copy a template from your library.
