# Plan and subscription

> Check your plan, switch when you need to, follow your invoices and cancel with no mystery.

Everything about your subscription lives in **Settings → Plan**.

You can also get there from the card at the bottom of the side menu, by clicking **Upgrade**
or **Manage subscription**.

## What the plan card shows

* The **plan name** and a status badge: Active, Trialing, Payment pending, Suspended,
  Canceled or Expired.
* The **price** and the cycle (monthly or yearly).
* The **next charge** and when the current period started.
* The features your plan unlocks, in green tags.

## The plans

<Steps>
  <Step title="Starter">
    For coaches starting out online. Workout and diet prescription, the athlete app,
    assessments and history, automations and notifications.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Growth">
    For the coaching business that grew and needs to integrate. Everything in Starter, plus
    integrations and API, staff and more teams.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Scale">
    For the operation that can't have a ceiling. Everything in Growth, with unlimited
    athletes, teams and staff.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enterprise">
    For coaches who need their own branding and custom limits, with dedicated support and
    SLA. Pricing is **on request** — the **Talk to us** button opens a conversation with the
    Kampp team.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Tip>
  At the top of the plans modal there's a **Monthly / Yearly** toggle. On yearly you get
  **2 months free**.
</Tip>

## Switch plans

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the plans">
    In **Settings → Plan**, click **Change plan**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the card">
    Clicking a card only **selects** it — it doesn't buy anything. The chosen card gets a
    red border.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Click **Subscribe**. The plan you're already on shows up as **Current plan** and stays
    disabled.
  </Step>
</Steps>

What happens next depends on which way you're moving:

| Situation | What happens |
| - | - |
| **Upgrading** | Takes effect right away. You only pay the difference for the period. |
| **Downgrading** | Takes effect at the turn of the cycle. **Nothing is charged now** and you keep today's limits until then. |
| **Card declined** | Kampp sends you to the payment portal to update your card. |

## Undo a scheduled switch

When you downgrade, an amber banner shows up on the card: **Switch to plan X scheduled**,
telling you until which day you stay as you are.

Changed your mind? Click **Cancel this change** and confirm with **Yes, keep current plan**.
The banner disappears and everything goes on as before, with the usual charge at the next
renewal.

<Note>
  While that amber banner is there, **nothing has changed yet**. You keep every limit of
  your current plan until the date shown.
</Note>

## Invoices and payment method

The **Manage subscription** button opens the payment portal, where your **card**, your
**invoices** and your **receipts** live.

In the dashboard, the **Payment history** card lists the latest invoices with **Date,
Amount, Status** and a **View invoice** link. For the full list, use **View all in the
portal**.

## Cancel and reactivate

Under **Cancel subscription**, Kampp asks for confirmation right there (**Yes, cancel** /
**No**).

Canceling **doesn't cut your access right away**: a banner shows up telling you until which
day the subscription is valid, and the cancel button turns into **Reactivate subscription**.
Until that date arrives, you can go back with one click.

## Notices you might see

| Banner | What to do |
| - | - |
| **Payment failed** (amber) | Update your card in **Manage subscription** so you don't lose access. |
| **Account suspended** (red) | Update the payment or talk to support. |
| **Cancellation scheduled** (amber) | If it was a mistake, click **Reactivate subscription**. |
| **Trial period** (blue) | Shows the day the charge starts. |
