# What is Cortex

> Kampp reads the athlete's intake form and drafts a workout and diet in your own method — and you review it before delivering.

**Cortex** is Kampp's prescription assistant. When an athlete answers your intake form,
Cortex builds a **workout and/or diet draft** already tuned to what that person answered —
and leaves it waiting for you.

Nothing reaches the athlete on its own. **You review it, adjust it if you want, and only
then deliver.**

## The idea in one sentence

> **The athlete answers. Cortex prepares. You decide.**

## What it hands back to you

You don't have to start from scratch on every new intake form. Cortex arrives with:

* the **workout program** built out, with sessions, exercises, sets and rest times;
* the **diet** with calories, macros, water goal and the menu split into meals;
* a **summary** of what it understood and what it adapted for that athlete;
* the **points to watch** that you need to look at carefully (a reported pain, a pregnancy,
  a health limitation).

## The full path

<Steps>
  <Step title="You teach it your method">
    In **Coach DNA**, you write down how you prescribe: what you prioritize, what you
    avoid, your tone. That's what makes the suggestion sound like you instead of generic.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You turn the suggestion on for an intake form">
    In the intake form builder, switch on **Generate suggestion with AI** and choose
    whether you want a workout, a diet or both.
  </Step>

  <Step title="The athlete answers">
    From their answers, the suggestion goes into the Cortex queue.
  </Step>

  <Step title="You review and deliver">
    You open it, check it, edit whatever you want and click **Approve and deliver**. Only
    then does it become a workout and a diet in the athlete's account.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Where to find it

In the side menu, under **Cortex**. The red badge next to it shows how many things are
waiting on you: suggestions to review and open monitoring recommendations.

The screen has three tabs:

| Tab | What it's for |
| - | - |
| **Suggestions** | The queue of what Cortex prepared and is waiting for review. |
| **Monitoring** | Alerts about athletes who deserve your attention right now. |
| **My Coach DNA** | Where you teach it your method. |

<Note>
  Cortex is exclusive to the **Enterprise** plan. Without it, the screen shows a locked
  card with an **Upgrade** button.
</Note>

<Warning>
  Cortex doesn't replace you. It gets the legwork out of the way and organizes what the
  athlete answered — the clinical decision and the responsibility for the prescription
  stay yours. That's why no suggestion reaches the athlete without your approval.
</Warning>
