# Accept a team invite

> For whoever got the invite: how to join a coach's team on Kampp.

This tutorial is for **whoever received** an invite to help run a coach's dashboard. (If
you're the one inviting, see [Invite members](/en/invite-members).)

## What you get

An email with a link. When you open it, you see the **Team invite** label, the name of the
organization and the role you were invited for.

## If you already have a Kampp account and you're signed in

Click **Accept with the current account**. Done.

If you're signed in with another email, use **Sign in with another account** — the invite
only works for the address the coach invited.

## If you're not signed in

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose how to sign in">
    You can use **Google**, **Apple** or email and password.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the tabs">
    Use **Create account** if you don't have a Kampp account yet, or **I already have an
    account** if you do. Kampp usually opens the right tab for you.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Fill it in">
    The **email comes pre-filled and locked** — it's the invited address. Enter your
    **name** (when creating an account) and a **password** (at least 6 characters).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Accept">
    Click **Accept invite**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

When it works, you land straight on the organization's **Team** screen.

## If something goes wrong

| Message | What happened |
| - | - |
| **Invalid invite** | The link is wrong, already used or expired. Ask the coach for another one. |
| **This account isn't the invited email** | You're signed in with a different email. Sign out and sign in with the invited address. |
| **This email already has an account** | No problem — Kampp switches to the **I already have an account** tab on its own, just enter your password. |

<Note>
  If your email isn't verified yet, Kampp asks you to verify it before taking you to the
  dashboard: it sends a **6-digit code** for you to type on screen. You can ask for a new
  code after 60 seconds.
</Note>

## After you're in

What you can see depends on the **role** and the **permissions** the coach set. If you're
missing access to some area, they're the person to talk to. See
[Permissions](/en/permissions).
